June 24, 2012, Villa Siena welcomed out of town visitors for Daniella and Zach’s wedding. The couple’s friends and family were filled with love and good cheer during this special occasion. Daniella’s porcelain skin and red hair created a timeless look with her strapless wedding gown that was hemmed with lace and lace detailing down the back. A satin ribbon around the waist that had a flower finish was all the detail that was needed for the upper portion of the dress. The bride chose a simple pearl necklace to compliment the look, further adding to the classic feel of Daniella’s style. Her hair was pulled back into a low bun with her veil was attached underneath. The ensemble had an almost Renaissance feel to it, accompanied by a bouquet of white roses. Surrounded by her bridesmaids in knee-length dresses of brown with white shoes and bouquets, Daniella shone. In a break with the traditional black and white tuxedo, Zach wore a grey suit with white shirt, white striped tie and brown shoes. His groomsmen also had grey suits, but theirs were accented with brown ties. While the bride is usually the one to have a hidden secret under her dress with blue suede shoes or blue toenails, at this wedding, the men had the surprise. When they lifted their pant legs, they revealed argyle socks in all different colors. The groom had cream, grey and brown socks, while the others had blue, red and green patterns. As guests were seated for the ceremony, a harpist played. After the couple exchanged vows and lit the unity candle, the reception began. At the welcome table, pictures of the couple and their family exemplified love and commitment. Guests were greeted with tables laid with golden colored tablecloths topped with yellow rose and white peony arrangements. The couple’s private table had framed signs announcing Mr. and Mrs. with a beautiful floral centerpiece. At each place setting was a card with a year of an anniversary. Guests were invited to write wishes, predictions, advice or instructions to the couple. The couple vowed to open the card on the appropriate wedding anniversary. A surprise band gathered for the reception made up of the bride’s dad, brother and brother’s girlfriend. The bride’s father took the opportunity to share personal stories and memories of Daniella between songs. The maid of honor complimented the match by saying “Daniella loves Disney, so I’m not surprised she ended up with a perfect fairy tale.” The couple’s first dance was to Michael Bublé’s Everything. Daniella and her father shared a dance to The Eagle’s Desperado while Zach and his mother shared Rod Stewart’s Have I Told You Lately That I Love You? A three-tiered cake was decorated with lace-like frosting and a brooch embedded in a fondant ribbon. The cake was cut in the tradition of so many family weddings before, with an engraved cake cutter bearing the names of the couples who had been wed before Daniella and Zach. Guests each received a sparkler with a matchbook that read Let Love Shine. And shine they did, as the wedding couple danced their last dance to the Rembrandt’s I’ll Be There For You. With a final kiss under a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell, the couple ended their night. Congratulations Daniella and Zach. We wish you the best.
