Danielle & Alex ~ March 14, 2019

Alex and Danielle became man and wife on March 14, 2019.

Danielle chose a romantic strapless fit-and-flare gown with a sweetheart neckline, embellished bodice, back button detail, and tulle skirt. Her accessories included drop earrings, a pendant necklace, and sparkly ombre heels. Her cascade-style bouquet was composed of several types of flowers in white and different shades of purple. Her maid of honor wore a full-length sleeveless lilac-colored gown with a deep V neckline. Her four other bridesmaids wore the same gown as the maid of honor, but in a deeper shade of purple. They carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Alex looked sharp in a three-piece gray suit with a gray vest, white shirt, white tie, and white pocket square. His five groomsmen wore three-piece gray suits with gray vests, white shirts, dark purple ties, and dark purple pocket squares.

During the ceremony, the officiant thanked the guests for attending, and spoke about some of the things the couple likes to do together. He also read from the couple’s ketubah (the traditional Jewish marriage contract), and at the end of the ceremony, Alex broke a glass with his foot.

After taking Polaroid photos as their guest book “sign-in,” guests enjoyed a meal of classic Caesar salad; grilled boneless breast of chicken filled with prosciutto and cheese; braised beef short ribs; mashed potatoes; and mixed steamed vegetables.

In the speeches, Danielle’s father told the story of how Alex asked for her hand in marriage, and said that he wouldn’t trade his daughter for the world. The maid of honor, Danielle’s sister, talked about when they were children and shared inside jokes. The best man, a friend of the groom’s since high school, brought out a special drink for the two of them to share.

Danielle and Alex’s first dance as a married couple was to “I Can Love You Like That” by John Michael Montgomery.

The three-tier wedding cake had a top white layer, middle purple layer, and bottom purple and white marble layer. The custom topper featured a bride and groom along with the couple’s last name.

We wish the happy couple love and joy in their new marriage!
