Darlen and Hector had an elegant wedding ceremony and reception June 20, 2014 at Villa Siena. The majority of the wedding and reception were spoken in both English and Spanish so all of their guests could enjoy.
Darlen’s wedding gown was a strapless affair overlaid with a soft gossamer material and beaded detailing at an empire waist. The dress flared at the bottom with ruffles and had covered buttons up the back. A cathedral-length veil with beaded edging was tucked into the bride’s hair, which was worn in a half up-do. Her bouquet was wrapped with crystals and boasted white roses. Her bridesmaids wore pink dresses of different design with bouquets of pink and white roses. The bride’s bouquet was embellished with blooms of pearls while the bridesmaid’s were embellished with baby’s breath. Hector went for a traditional look with a black tuxedo and bow-tie with an orchid in his lapel. His groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black ties.
Due to the warm summer weather, the couple chose an indoor ceremony where white rose petals lined the aisle. Darlen was radiant as she walked to her groom.
At the reception, the couple’s name shone on the wall with the date of their wedding. They shared a private sweetheart table bursting with bouquets of hydrangeas. Crystals hung down around the table.
The first dance was I Belong to You by Eros Ramazzotti and Anastacia. The speeches included one by the groom who gave a tribute to his father who had passed away.
The food at the reception was personalized by using family recipes for many of the dishes, which were absolutely delicious.
The wedding cake was vanilla and guava. The three-tiered cake was covered in a light pink fondant and wrapped with a wide pink satin ribbon. The cake topper was a porcelain bride and groom.
Congratulations Darlen and Hector. May your life be a fairytale day after day. We wish you the best.
