After meeting when working together at Bank of America, messaging each other all the time, and becoming best friends, Dawn and Nick were married on Sunday, March 13, 2016.
Dawn modeled a Grace Style & Bridal wedding gown with an extended train, a semi-sweetheart neckline, and a bejeweled and pearl-studded belt. Her three bridesmaids wore turquoise-colored sheath gowns, also with semi-sweetheart necklines. Each member of the bridal party clutched a posy bouquet of white roses.
Nick sported a black, three-piece suit and black necktie, accented with a turquoise pocket square and two white roses pinned to his lapel. His three groomsmen mirrored his attire, except for their turquoise-colored neckties.
Their outdoor ceremony was held in front of the fireplace, and recapped their six-year relationship. A finish line-style banner reading “Forever Begins Here” greeted those about to walk down the blue petal-strewn, white-carpeted aisle. The young Ring Bearer donned a black vest reading “Ring Security 03-13-16” on the back.
At the reception, guests played a game to win first round at the buffet. Dinner consisted of Caesar salad, roasted prime rib, grilled tequila chicken, winter vegetables, and golden-crusted potatoes – plus a coffee bar. The wedding cake was three-tiered, the middle tier being squared, and the other two round in shape – all with a light blue, bedazzled ribbon around the base. A silver bejeweled “D & N” topped the elegant cake.
During toasts, the Best Man thanked the guests, and talked about how Dawn and Nick met. The Maid of Honor was Dawn’s sister, and she expressed how happy she is for the new couple, and how lucky she is to have the Nick in their family now. Dawn and Nick’s first dance was to “Tangled Up in You” by Aaron Lewis.
The reception also featured a photobooth – complete with a Batman mask. Best wishes to Dawn and Nick on their new chapter in life.
