The color theme for Delphene and Sheldon’s wedding day was blush, cream and dark grey, the perfect combination for a changing of the seasons October 19, 2014. The couple met at The Purple Turtle Bar and married this year at Villa Siena. The outdoor wedding ceremony was the perfect temperature for a fall wedding.
For the ceremony, Delphene chose a gown from the Vera Wang Collection at David’s Bridal. The dress showcased caplet sleeves and beaded detailing across the bust with rouching throughout the rest of the gown. Covered buttons flowed down the back while a diamond headband finished the look. The bridesmaids wore slate grey dresses with ruffled layers while the flower girl wore in a pale pink dress with tulle overlay. Sheldon chose a grey tuxedo with a blush colored tie to match the blush in Delphene’s bouquet of hydrangeas roses and mini roses. His groomsmen were also in grey tuxedos with white ties.
During the speeches the groom’s daughter told Delphene how happy she was to welcome a second mom into her life. The best man told stories of growing up together with Sheldon.
Babbo Italian Eatery catered the reception dinner. Tables were covered silver tablecloths. On top silver picture frames held table numbers. For dessert, a three-tiered wedding cake with curlicue frosting and fresh roses was served.
Congratulations Delphene and Sheldon. May your lives together be filled with warmth and abundant love. We wish you the best.
