Deserae and Felix’s gorgeous wedding was held on January 10, 2020.
Deserae chose an elegant sleeveless trumpet gown with an embroidered damask overlay and a V neckline. Her accessories included a hip-length veil, drop earrings, and a crystal bracelet. Her bouquet included roses in a variety of light colors along with other accent flowers. Her three bridesmaids wore individual full-length red dresses. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Felix looked sharp in a dark gray suit with a dark gray vest, white shirt, red tie, and mini bouquet boutonniere. His three groomsmen wore black suits with black vests, white shirts, red ties, and blush-colored rose boutonnieres.
A harp played during the outdoor ceremony, during which the officiant told the couple to protect the trust they have for each other so their love can flourish. Deserae and Felix read personal vows to each other.
Later, guests enjoyed a meal of a Southwestern salad with tomatoes, red onion, black beans, cilantro, cheese, tortilla strips, and chipotle vinaigrette; herb-roasted red potatoes with fresh herbs and olive oil; assorted grilled vegetables; grilled chicken breast with chipotle glaze and fruit salsa; and sliced beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce and horseradish aioli.
In the speeches, the best man, Felix’s younger brother, shared stories of their childhood and said that he is excited to welcome Deserae into the family. The maid of honor, Deserae’s best friend, talked about their long friendship and wished the newlyweds many years of marriage.
Felix and Deserae had their first dance as man and wife to “Angel” by Jack Johnson. Deserae and her father danced to “I Loved Her First” and Felix and his mother danced to “Te Amo Mama” by Marco Antonio Solis. Other reception fun include a La Hora Loca and a photobooth. The wedding favors were Mason jars full of candy.
The four-tier white wedding cake had two layers done in a silver dot pattern, and two layers done in a white-on-white curlicue design with silver dot accents. The cake was adorned with red roses.
Felix carried his bride out of their wedding under the signature sparkler send-off.
We hope this beautiful couple shares a long and happy life together!
