Elizabeth and Pedro Celebrate Their Love and Their Culture

One of our favorite things about hosting weddings at Villa Siena is seeing how different cultures celebrate love with different wedding traditions! And when Elizabeth and Pedro got married last fall, we were delighted to see them include their Latin American culture in the festivities.

The wedding had a romantic color scheme of light pink, white, and gold. The bridesmaids wore long, blush pink gowns, while Pedro and his groomsmen sported dark blue suits with light pink ties. The Plaza Toscana looked incredible during the ceremony, all decked out in white and pale pink roses, peonies, snapdragons, and hydrangeas. And as for our bride, she was a breathtaking vision in her mermaid-style dress. The gown was covered in lace and sparkly beading, so she literally glittered as she walked down the aisle!

A family friend officiated the ceremony, which was conducted in Spanish. The ceremony was short and sweet, with our lovebirds exchanging vows and sealing their union with a kiss. Once Mr. and Mrs. Perez were officially wed (yay!) guests mingled during cocktail hour and enjoyed music from a live mariachi band.

Soon, guests moved inside to our reception hall, which was doused in pink lighting for the occasion. Elizabeth and Pedro shared their first dance to “You and I” by John Legend, and guests enjoyed a dinner of wild rice, lemon chicken, steak, and roasted vegetables. After dinner, everyone hit the dance floor and danced the night away!

Elizabeth and Pedro’s wedding was a beautiful evening, and everyone was wishing them a heartfelt “Felicidades!” by the time the night was over.
