Erica and Joshua were married on October 1, 2021.
Erica dazzled in a sleeveless trumpet gown with a V neckline, embroidered overlay, and a train. Her accessories included a collar necklace and a hip-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of several different kinds of flowers in shades of burgundy, deep purple, and lavender. Her five bridesmaids wore coordinating full-length burgundy dresses. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Joshua got married in a black suit with a black vest, white shirt, burgundy tie, white pocket square, and mini bouquet boutonniere. His five groomsmen wore black suits with white shirts, burgundy ties, white pocket squares, and mini bouquet boutonnieres.
Joshua’s grandfather officiated the outdoor ceremony, which included prayer and traditional vows. The couple lit a unity candle to signify their new marriage.
Later, guests enjoyed a meal of salad, chicken, steak, and mashed potatoes. The signature cocktails were a Whiskey Sour for Joshua and a Cosmo Bride for Erica.
During the speeches, Erica’ father thanked everyone for coming and talked about his relationship with his new son-in-law. The maid of honor and the bride’s sister talked about their great relationship with the newlyweds. Joshua’s father congratulated the couple, and Erica’s grandmother said a prayer.
Joshua and Erica’s first dance as man and wife was to “Talk You Out of It” by Florida Georgia Line. Erica and her father shared a special dance as well.
The four-tier wedding cake was done in white with gold leaf decoration. It was accented with pink, red, and white roses.
We wish all the best to this wonderful couple!
