Eva & Jared ~ April 7, 2024

Eva and Jared went from co-workers to happily ever after when they were married in an out-of-this-world space-themed wedding on April 7, 2024.

Eva looked radiant in a sleeveless fit-and-flare gown with jeweled straps, an illusion neckline, sheer side panels, and a train. She accessorized with drop earrings. Her cascade-style bouquet was composed of blue flowers accented with white roses. Her four bridesmaids wore individual full-length dark blue dresses. They wore wrist corsages of blue and white flowers. Her bridesman wore a blue suit with a gray shirt, maroon tie, and white rose boutonniere.

Jared got married in a dark gray suit with a white shirt, dark blue tie, dark blue pocket square, and white rose boutonniere. His four groomsmen wore light gray suits with white shirts, dark blue ties, dark blue pocket squares, and white rose boutonnieres. His groomswoman wore an off-the-shoulder, full-length light gray dress with a wrist corsage to match the bridesmaids.

The officiant told the couple that “Marriage is the greatest adventure of all.” They read personal vows to each other during the ceremony. The bridal party held lights that looked like planets to represent the galaxy, as the bride and groom are both aerospace engineers.

Later, attendees dined on classic Caesar salad with romaine lettuce and house-made dressing; creamy mashed potatoes; sweet ginger-glazed carrots; braised short ribs; and grilled mahi-mahi. The signature cocktails were a Dark Side of the Moon-tini (gin, lemon juice and crème de violette) and a Star Wars Episode IV: A New York Sour (traditional whiskey sour with a red wine float).

During the toasts, the best man spoke about his friendship with Jared, including a trip they took together to Japan. The maids of honor said that Eva and Jared’s love is “out of this world.” Eva’s father thanked everyone for coming to the wedding.

Jared and Eva’s first dance as man and wife was to “Banana Pancakes.” Eva and her father danced to “My Girl” by The Temptations. Jared and his mother danced to “In My Life” by The Beatles.

Other wedding fun included a photobooth and a telescope for stargazing.

In lieu of a wedding cake, there was a chocolate fountain with strawberries, marshmallows and wafers for dipping.

We wish the newlyweds all the best!
