February 20, 2015, as the seasons began to change and the weather to warm, Fabiola and Andrew hosted their reception at Villa Siena after being married in a church ceremony off site. The bride chose a wedding gown with a fitted lace bodice with a halter top and full skirt. A sapphire pendant enhanced the ensemble, as did her cathedral length gown. Her bouquet combined lavender, pink and purple roses and lilacs. For the occasion, her bridesmaids wore royal purple strapless satin gowns. Andrew chose a black tuxedo with grey vest and tie for his wedding while his groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black vests and ties.
During the reception the mood was set with purple up-lighting. Flute vases held bright floral arrangements on each table.
For the newlywed’s first dance You and I by Michael Buble played. After the couple’s dance, Fabiola and her father danced to Hija by Abraham Velazquez and then Andrew and his mother took to the dance floor for All To You by Scott Keo.
As the toasts began the married couple filled their engraved champagne flutes with champagne. The flutes also had two intertwined hearts which matched the hearts that shone in lights on the wall along with the couple’s name and date of marriage. The closeness of Andrew and his best man was clear when, during the speeches, he spoke of how Andrew had been there for him his whole life and how he was honored to be there for Andrew’s big day. The maid of honor summed up Fabiola and Andrew’s wedding day when she said, “A beautiful marriage is a beautiful thing.”
The wedding cake had a diamond belt around the base of each of its three tiers with lavender purple sugar flowers and a crystal ‘D’ on the middle tier. Favors continued the sweet sensation of the day with boxes of candy that had purple bows on top and were passed out by the mother of the bride during the reception.
The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Fabiola and Andrew. May your love always feel as deep and overpowering as it did on your wedding day.
