Franchesca & Spencer ~ September 25, 2015

Yellow-Blue-Outdoor-Wedding (13)Franchesca and Spencer met at Mesquite High School in 2008. They were married September 25, 2015. For her wedding the bride wore a gown with a fitted beaded bodice and a ‘reveal’ skirt. Her veil sparkled with beaded detailing as did her pearl and diamond necklace. Under the dress the bride wore a Yale garter in blue, silver and white. Her bouquet brought together yellow roses and gerbera daisies with baby’s breath. Her bridesmaids added a touch of brightness in turquoise strapless gowns. Spencer wore a dark grey tuxedo with vest, a white shirt and black tie with a yellow rose in his lapel. His groomsmen were dressed similarly.
As guests arrived they were welcomed with framed pictures of the couple’s family on their wedding days. The altar was likewise decorated with yellow roses in vases of varying heights. During the ceremony Spencer’s father who was the officiant mentioned that the couple would finally be in the same city and state and share the same address. The groom gave a testimony and performed a worship song. Spencer’s father also spoke of how the bride’s father prayed with her.

Yellow-Blue-Outdoor-Wedding (21)The couple took to the dance floor as husband and wife for their first dance to a choreographed first dance that mixed of a couple of songs. This was followed by the Mother & Son dance to Mama by LunchMoney Lewis. The father of the bride talked about coaching his daughter in softball and basketball during speeches so it only made sense that during the Father & Daughter dance, Franchesca and her father kicked a soccer ball, a basketball and then threw a softball before dancing to Unforgettable by Nat King Cole. The entire wedding party performed a choreographed dance for their guest’s entertainment. The groom sang a special song called ‘Smiley’ for the bride during the reception.
Speeches included the mother of the bride and mother of the groom going back and forth sharing funny stories about their children. The father of the groom told those gathered that his son lived life humbly.

Sweetness was served in the form of a five-tiered wedding cake with teal ribbon and diamonds wrapping the bottom of each tier. On top of the cake sat a ceramic wedding couple with their arms around one another. Favors were little bottles of oil. The night ended with a signature Villa Siena Sparkler Farewell. Congratulations Franchesca & Spencer. May your love for one another continue to blossom with each passing day.
