Gabrielle and Dion met through a mutual friend, and were ultimately married on Friday, July 15, 2016.
Gabrielle modeled an ivory, Vera Wang wedding gown purchased from David’s Bridal with a straight across neckline, and a multilayered ballgown skirt. An elbow length veil was pinned in her spiraling, highlighted brown hair, and she held a posy tied bouquet of white and red roses. Her bridesmaids donned floor-length, sleeveless red gowns with halter straps. There was also a small team of flower girls, each wearing a tea-length white dress and holding red pomander bouquets.
Dion sported a black, two-piece suit with a white dress shirt, red necktie and pocket square, silver tie bar, and a white rose on his lapel. His groomsmen wore black slacks and vests with white dress shirts, red neckties, and white roses on their vests, plus one groomsman in his military dress uniform. There were also two ring bearers in cultural Samoan bottoms with blue dress shirts and red bowties.
Gabrielle and Dion had a simple, indoor wedding ceremony, surrounded by friends and family. The officiant advised the couple to appreciate and communicate, and told them to remember these two action verbs. He told them to always respect each other as equals.
Guests were asked to use the hashtag #ottwedding when sharing their special memories on social media.
We wish Gabrielle and Dion all the luck in the world, and hope they had a fantastic honeymoon on a weeklong cruise from Florida to the Bahamas.
