Fernando and Gabrielle became man and wife on March 19, 2022.
Gabrielle looked stunning in a long-sleeved ballgown with lace sleeves, a V neckline, and a full skirt with a train. Her accessories included pearl earrings and a pearl-and-crystal hair ornament. Her bouquet was composed of roses in light hues with floral and botanical accents. Her seven bridesmaids wore coordinating full-length sage green dresses in various silhouettes. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Fernando wore a light gray suit with a light gray vest, white shirt, black tie, and rose boutonniere. His seven groomsmen wore light gray suits with light gray vests, white shirts, black bow ties, and rose boutonnieres.
In the outdoor ceremony, the officiant described love and talked about the meaning of marriage. The couple read personal vows to each other and lit a unity candle to signify the joining of their lives.
After signing bottles of anniversary wine for the newlyweds, guests sat down to a meal of mixed-greens salad with carrots, tomatoes, house vinaigrette dressing, and a Parmesan crisp; herb-roasted red potatoes; penne with roasted red pepper and vodka sauce; grilled boneless chicken breast; and flatiron steak. There was a dessert table, and the signature cocktails were Champagne with raspberry liqueur for the bride and an old-fashioned for the groom.
The best man and the maid honor gave toasts. The newlyweds thanked everyone for coming and celebrating with them.
Gabrielle and Fernando’s first dance was to “You Are the Reason” by Calum Scott. Fernando shared a special dance with his mother. Gabrielle and her father shared a dance, then her sister danced with their father and Gabrielle danced with her grandfather. Other wedding fun included a bouquet and garter toss.
The three-tier white wedding cake was done with a ruffled frosting design and was accented with roses.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
