Gina and Bill were married at Villa Siena January 18, 2013. The couple met through an on-line dating service. Both had been married previously, but when they met each other, they knew they had finally found the right match. The wedding included 96 guests and three flower girls. All of the wedding attendants were family, including daughters, sons and grandkids.
During the ceremony the couple’s friend played the harp as a wedding gift to the couple. As Gina prepared for her walk down the aisle, family helped her get ready. She looked fabulous in a wedding gown with sleeves and a wide V-neck collar. The dress gathered at the side into beaded detailing then flared out mermaid-style. The look was elegant. Diamond earrings and a bracelet added a little sparkle to the outfit while a feather fascinator brought spontaneity to the look. Bill was happy and handsome in a traditional tuxedo with black tie. The flower girls were sweet with bows and flowers in their hair and green sashes around their dresses.
This family oriented ceremony began with a poem about marriage. The couple said their own vows. The phrase “you were the answer to my prayers” resonated with guests and expressed how important the couple’s relationship was for one another.
The bride made her own elegant centerpieces to grace the tables where the guests sat for dinner. The couple chose to do without speeches or a traditional wedding cake but offered a dessert table instead. The bride and groom also decided to skip a formal first dance, however all the guests were invited to celebrate throughout the evening.
Congratulations Gina & Bill. You never know when the right person will walk through the door, but when they do, cherish them every day the same way you cherished them on your wedding day.
