Haley and Allenson: A European-Inspired Wedding
When Haley and Allenson were planning their wedding, they had one destination on their minds: Europe. How could they capture the elegance and sophistication of a European wedding without hopping on a plane? Luckily, our team at Villa Siena was happy to help!
The couple’s February wedding was filled with beauty and romance, right down to the burgundy, pink, and red color scheme. The bridesmaids were dressed in long, burgundy gowns with lace sleeves. Allenson and his groomsmen wore classic black tuxes. And Haley was a vision in her Martina Liana gown, which featured a sweetheart neckline, lace appliques, illusion sleeves, and a gorgeous veil with a cathedral length train.
The wedding took place outside in the Plaza Toscana, which was decorated with lush greenery, a white aisle runner, and white and pink rose petals. Haley walked down the aisle as a violinist performed, then joined her sweetheart at the altar. The couple exchanged vows and rings and performed a handfasting ceremony to symbolize their union. By the time the officiant told Allenson to kiss his bride, there wasn’t a dry eye in the courtyard!
After the ceremony, Haley and Allenson’s loved ones headed inside for dinner and dancing. The reception kicked off with the couple’s first dance — set to Ed Sheeran’s “How Would You Feel.” Then, Haley and her father did a choreographed dance to a fun medley of songs! Finally, the guests of honor took their seats and it was time for toasts.
As Haley and Allenson’s friends shared well-wishes and fun stories, guests enjoyed their dinner: creamy mashed potatoes, green beans with toasted almond slivers, grilled atlantic salmon with hollandaise and lemon dill beurre blanc , and vegetable wellington (yum!). Once everyone had eaten their fill, they took to the dance floor for dancing and games like the shoe game.
By the time our lovebirds left for the evening (with a lovely sparkler send-off), it was clear that they’d had one truly special day that they will remember forever.
