Every groom could use a few tips on keeping his new wife happy, as could every bride. November 6, 2014 Patrick was given tips on being married to Heather by her best friend. The groom’s brother and best man had simpler advice to keep everyone happy: “Let’s party!”

The couple’s chose an autumn theme for their wedding, which they implemented by decorating the Villa in miniature pumpkins and red, orange and gold leaves. The rustic theme led to aisle chairs being tied with burlap ribbon bows, a red runner and a fire burning in the fireplace.

Even the bridal bouquet captured the warmth of fall bringing together sunflowers and red roses. Heather chose a vintage look with a champagne lace veil and champagne colored Allure gown. The fitted dress was finished with beaded detailing across the top of the bodice and rouching that led into a mermaid flair. Ballet slippers encrusted with crystals hid under the dress. Heather’s bridesmaids wore dresses of jewel tones in different styles but of the same material. Patrick chose a black tuxedo with gold tie and in his lapel a red rose wrapped in twine rested. His groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black shirts and red ties.

Instead of a traditional guest sign-in book, the couple left out a calendar for guests to note their birthdays. The bride’s stepfather gave a blessing before dinner. Afterwards, a two-tiered chocolate and red velvet wedding cake covered with gold dusted white fondant was served. The bottom tier had a red fleur de lis pattern while on top a gold leaf glittered. Favors were packages of Hershey Kisses.

For the first dance the couple chose She’s Everything by Brad Paisley. The newlywed’s dance was followed by the mother and son dance to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. The night ended with a Villa Siena signature sparkler farewell.

Congratulations Heather and Patrick. May the spark that brought you together burn brighter with each passing day. We wish you the best.
