Hillary & Mike ~ March 22, 2013

Mike and Hillary were married at Villa Siena March 22, 2013. The couple met through a mutual friend who was also one of the bridesmaids. The day of the ceremony, the bride and her friends arrived wearing t-shirts that said bride, bridesmaid and maid of honor on the back.

Hillary embodied complete happiness throughout the day. She wore her hair swept off her face with loose curls in the back. Her dress brought fun and flirty together in a beautifully styled dress for the bride. The gown combined a fitted bust with a diamond brooch accent at the empire waist puffing out into a full skirt with a layer of gauzy material over top. A bow tied in the back. The bouquet of white roses created a picture perfect look. Pearl necklace and earrings were classic while the bride’s tattoo offered a more personal side of her personality. The maid of honor wore an aqua full-length gown while the bridesmaids wore knee-length versions. All wore pearl necklaces and carried white rose bouquets. There was one exception, the male bridesmaid, who wore an aqua button down shirt and black bowtie.

Mike was the perfect compliment to his bride in a striped tuxedo with a white tie and white shirt. The groomsmen wore aqua vests and ties. Before the ceremony the men enjoyed cigars.

During the wedding the couple had a sand ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception continued the warmth and love. The father of the bride welcomed all the guests and thanked them for coming, saying “I hope you continue to be part of our lives for a long, long time.”

Mike and Hillary took to the dance floor for the Beatle’s All You Need Is Love. Afterward the couple cut their four-tiered cake. The lower tiers were decorated with an aqua ribbon and brooch while the top two layers had an intricate curlicue design. The wedding topper was a groom with a football helmet on kissing his bride. The cake was vanilla and red velvet with buttercream frosting. A candy station with all blue candies offered even more sweet enticements.

The couple chose to do a garter ceremony, which was a lot of fun for the couple and entertaining for their guests.

Congratulations Mike & Hillary. May your friendship, love and understanding carry you through everything life has to offer.
