Ivanito & Mark ~ May 30, 2016

red-pride-wedding-villa-siena-13Ivanito and Mark met at a conference in Seattle, and were eventually married on Monday, May 30, 2016.

Ivanito donned a white dress shirt and jacket with black trim, a red vest and necktie, and black slacks with white Chuck Taylor high tops. Mark sported a two-piece black suit with a red necktie and red, high top Chuck Taylors. Two red roses pinned each lapel.

The wedding party consisted of seven bridesmaids with tea length gray gowns in various necklines with red, peep-toe heels and silver nail polish. They held posy bouquets of white and red roses. The seven groomsmen donned Jos A. Bank two-piece gray suits with dove gray vests, red neckties, and red Converse high tops.

The outdoor ceremony was held at the end of a white carpet strewn in red rose petals. Ivanito and Mark performed a blending of the sands, and the giving of roses – during which Ivanito sported a small, white top hat held in place with a headband.

A dinner followed of Caesar salad, herb-crusted prime rib, grilled chicken breast, potatoes au gratin, and sweet ginger glazed carrots. The four-tiered, vanilla and chocolate wedding cake had a world travel theme. The bottom tier was a silver suitcase in shape; the second tier was a rainbow-colored world map; the cake topper was a mini Ivanito and Mark, complete with suitcases and mini versions of their three pets.

During toasts, the Best Man TJ, who has known Mark for four years, said, “Mark knows what he wants and goes for it. I can see why you both love each other.” The Matron of Honor Angela has been BFFs with Ivanito ever since they met in Kansas, and said, “So happy to see you two married.” Ivan’s mom thanked Mark for teaching Ivan, and Mark’s mom wished a love that will last forever.

Ivan and Mark’s First Dance was to “All of Me” by John Legend. The Mother/Son Dance was to Celine Dion’s “Because You Love Me,” the Honeymoon Dance was to “I Won’t Give Up” by Shakira, and the cake cutting song was Jack Johnson’s “Better Together.”

Guests were treated to soap and Ghirardelli chocolates as favors, and asked to use the hashtag #markandivanitolovewins.

The new couple left under the signature sparkler farewell, and we wish all the best to Ivanito and Mark!
