Jaclyn and Michael chose a marine blue, ice blue and silver color scheme for their wedding reception December 27, 2015. The couple met in high school but started dating in college where they both attended the same school. Their reception was held at Villa Siena.
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with a reception table filled with pictures of the couple as well as wedding photographs from their parent’s wedding.
The bride wore her Schaeffer’s Bridal wedding gown for the reception The lace dress had a beaded belt at the waist and a full skirt. To accent the ensemble, Jaclyn chose a diamond necklace and wore her hair in an up-do. The bouquet she carried was filled with white roses, blue hydrangeas and peonies. Under the dress was a white garter with a blue bow to go along with the saying “something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. Her bridesmaids wore marine blue gowns with a single strap and ornate diamond bracelets. The groom wore a black tuxedo with a grey vest and bowtie and a white rose in his lapel. His groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black bowties.
At the reception the couple’s table was decorated with a Mr. & Mrs. Wood sign while table centerpieces sparkled with glittery vases filled with roses and hydrangeas. The wedding cake was a three-tiered round vanilla cake with raspberry filling. Blue snowflakes cascading over each tier with the letter S in silver as a cake topper. The entire cake glittered with a sugar finish.
