More and more we see couples coming through Villa Siena that meet during school and either reconnected later in life or find their true love at an early age. Janette and Eddie have been dating since they first met in school and they couldn’t be happier.
The couple married May 23, 2014 at Villa Siena. Before the ceremony, the couple held hands behind a column and shared a few private words that brought tears to Janette’s eyes. During the ceremony the couple lit a unity candle bringing their two lives together as one. They also honored their mothers during the ceremony by presenting their new mother-in-laws with a white rose to welcome them into the family.
Janette looked magical in a wedding gown with rouching and beading across the top and a ruffled skirt. Teal suede shoes with a bow on them brought character to the ensemble. The bride’s hair was worn to one side with a headband and veil. During the reception the veil was set aside. A diamond heart-shaped necklace was worn. The bridal bouquet mixed white roses, calla lilies and succulents.
Eddie and his groomsmen wore grey tuxedos. The groom wore an aqua tie while his groomsmen wore aqua bowties to match the bridesmaid’s dresses of sea foam blue. The maid of honor wore a darker version of the same dress that the rest of the bridesmaids wore.
For the recessional guests blew bubbles. After the ceremony the men revealed their true identities as they ripped open their shirts to expose which superhero they really were.
During the reception the couple danced their first dance to Overjoyed by Matchbox 20. Following dancing, cake was served. The wedding cake sat three tiers high with the bottom two tiers fading from teal to white in a wave-like pattern. The top layer was plain with a custom topper of the bride and the groom.
Favors were coasters with pictures of the adventures the couple had embarked on from the time they were engaged until the present. The night ended with a signature sparkler farewell.
Congratulations Janette & Eddie. May you bring each other happiness throughout your days together. We wish you the best.
