Jazmin and Chandler met at a volleyball event in high school and were married on Friday, October 21, 2016.
Jazmin wore a sleeveless wedding gown with an illusion neckline, button-lined back, and a ruffled mermaid hem. She held a cascading bouquet of cream and soft pink colored roses, and her bridesmaids held hand-tied bouquets of the same. The six bridesmaids donned elegant floor-length halter-cut gowns in blush pink.
Chandler sported a two-piece black suit with a white dress shirt and black bowtie. His four groomsmen matched his attire. A white rose was pinned on each lapel.
Dinner was served atop blush pink tablecloths. It started with choice of spring or Caesar salad, followed by pesto pasta, Tuscan chicken, and spinach Gorgonzola. The three-tiered vanilla wedding cake came adorned in chunky gold vanilla-flavored frosting, and accented with white roses. There was also a dessert table complete with caramel apples, fruit tarts, powdered donut holes, and carrot cake bites.
During toasts, the Father of the Bride jokingly mentioned how stressed the wedding made his wife, and thanked everyone for coming. The Father of the Groom said he was thankful for all the help, and couldn’t have done it without family. The Maid of Honor talked about how the couple has known each other since high school, and always knew they would get married. The Best Man talked about how grateful he was that Chandler met Jazmin, and how she has changed his life.
Jazmin and Chandler’s First Dance was to Ed Sheeran’s “Tenerife Se.” The Father/Daughter Dance was to “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack, and the Mother/Son Dance was to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts.
As a small surprise, Jazmin also had the usher dress up to greet guests as a Stormtrooper for Chandler, who is a Star Wars fan.
Jazmin and Chandler left under the signature sparkler farewell, and we wish them all the happiness in the galaxy.
