Jeannine and Roger celebrated their wedding ceremony and reception at Villa Siena September 1, 2013. The couple, surrounded by close friends and family, enjoyed their ceremony under bluebird skies with a golden sun shining down upon them.
Jeannine was elegant in a gown with chiffon straps, a beaded bodice that finished in an empire waist and A-line skirt. With hair worn up, a flower fascinator echoed the softness of the skirt of the gown. Jeannine carried a bouquet of white roses and hydrangeas. The stems were wrapped in lace and fastened with a pearl and diamond brooch. Her bridesmaids surrounded her in sleeveless champagne colored dresses with a black sash. They also carried bouquets of white roses.
For the special occasion Roger wore a black tuxedo with white shirt and tie while his groomsmen wore black tuxedos with champagne colored vests and ties. The couple’s friendship and love was obvious throughout the day with the glowing smiles they offered one another. During the ceremony the couple performed a special rose ceremony and lit a unity candle.
Tables were laid with three tiers of candleholders, each with an autumn rose floating underneath a votive candle.
After guests were seated for the reception, the couple took the floor to God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton. All couples were invited to join the dance floor for an anniversary dance to Frank Sinatra’s the Way You Look Tonight.
During the evening a celebrity kissing game was held. Each time a guest clinked their champagne glass a different couple around the room had to stand and share a kiss.
Jeannine and Roger tested their knowledge of one another with a shoe game, where the couple had to guess the answers to questions by raising either the groom’s shoe or the bride’s shoe.
A beautiful cake with ivory frosting and the couple’s name monogrammed in frosting was finished with fresh white flowers on top. Three little cookies with icing were the favors.
Congratulations Jeannine and Roger. May your love always support one another as your friends and family did on your wedding day. We wish you the best.
