Jenna was a freshman and Spencer a senior when they met at Highly High School. Their romance bloomed and June 12, 2015 they were married. The couple embodied the young love. For her wedding day, Jenna wore a gown edged in lace with beaded detailing and a full lace skirt. Her bouquet had lavender, white and pink roses. Underneath the dress was a pair of delicate silver flats. A cathedral length veil was worn over the bride’s up-do. The bridesmaid’s silver-blue dresses came from David’s Bridal. The floor-length gowns each had different style tops.
To begin the wedding, the flower girl walked down the aisle with a garland of flowers in her hair and a tutu skirt. The ring bearer came down the aisle with a baseball glove on. As the bride reached her groom they both lit up. Spencer wore a light grey tuxedo with white shirt, grey vest and white bowtie. By his side the groomsmen all wore light grey tuxedos. During their ceremony the couple lit a unity candle. On the altar sat birdcage candleholders and a floral bouquet.
The maid of honor was the bride’s sister and only sister of seven siblings, which explained the 22 members of the bridal party. During the speeches, the best man talked of how he had been friends with the groom since 7th grade. The father told friends and family that the bride was perfect in every way.
For the first dance, the couple chose Amazed by Lonestar. There You’ll Be by Faith Hill played for the mother & son dance and for the father & daughter dance, T. Carter’s Daddy’s Angel was chosen.
After dinner cake was served. Vanilla almond, red velvet and chocolate with chocolate buttercream alternated tiers while fondant and pink rosettes covered the cake. An ‘O’ topper finished the cake. For a little extra sweetness, there was a candy table and favors were chocolates.
