Jennifer & Mike ~ October 3, 2015

Blue-Outdoor-Wedding (32)Jennifer and Mike met while playing softball. The couple married at Villa Siena October 3, 2015. For their wedding a welcome table was set with a sign saying, A true love story never ends. In front of the sign were pictures of the couple and the couple’s parents on their wedding days.

The officiant that performed their ceremony had also performed the ceremony for the bride’s twin sister, who served as Jennifer’s maid of honor. The best man was the Mike’s younger brother. The couple wrote their own touching wedding vows.

Both the bride’s dress and bridesmaid’s dresses came from David’s Bridal. Jennifer’s dress was a strapless lace gown with a champagne silk belt accented with flowers. She wore a lace veil with scalloped edging. The bridal bouquet was filled with assorted white flowers and green berries.  Her bridesmaid’s dresses were marine colored with a single strap. To marry the love of his life, Mike was dressed in a dark grey tuxedo with a white shirt and black tie. His groomsmen wore light grey tuxedos with marine blue ties and light grey vests.

For the reception, guests were directed to their tables by a seating chart, which included a thank you to friends and family. The newlyweds sat at a private couple’s table where they sipped out of engraved champagne glasses.

During speeches, the best man spoke of his brother’s great work ethic, while the maid of honor laughed and cried through her speech, making sure everyone knew she was four minutes older than her twin. The father of the bride invited up the groom’s parents during speeches before he detailed the pros and cons of marriage.

Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud played for the first dance followed by My Little Girl by Tim McGraw for the father & daughter song and You’re Gonna Be for the mother & son song. A videographer interviewed family and friends to preserve their thoughts and well-wishes on this special day. Guests were invited to take bags of Hershey Kisses home as favors.

A three-tiered wedding cake was served for dessert, with two layers of almond cake and a middle layer of vanilla and raspberry. The entire cake was finished with a white almond frosting with scrolling detail on the first and third tiers and polk-a-dots on the middle tier. A glitter ‘D’ topper sat on top.

Congratulations Jennifer & Mike. May the beauty that you saw in each other continue to bloom with each passing day. We wish you the best.
