Jennifer and Robert met in Arizona while they were working towards their master’s degrees. Their love was true and they married December 28, 2015.
The couple had a lovely outdoor wedding ceremony. The flower girl wore a blue dress with a white fur caplet with flowers in her hair as she walked down the aisle with the ring bearer who was dressed in khaki pants with a blue blazer and tie.
The ceremony included lighting a unity candle as well as readings by the groomsmen.
The bride was the focus of attention in a Mia Solano gown that showcased ruffled tiers of lace with beading on the bodice and a beaded belt. Her shoes were decorated with crystals and pearls. Her bridesmaids were dressed in sapphire blue evening gowns. Robert wore a black tuxedo with white shirt and a white bowtie while the groomsmen were dressed in grey tuxedos with blue ties to color coordinate with the bridesmaids’ dresses, which were royal blue with a ruffle down the front. The maid of honor’s dress was unique to the rest in silver-blue.
Speeches included the best man talking of how much he appreciated Robert’s friendship when he moved from India to the United States. The maid of honor noted that every once in a while two people meet and you just know it’s meant to be. The reception included natural up-lighting and the couple’s name on the wall. For dessert, the wedding cake was monochromatic with a pearl band around the top tier and champagne gum paste flowers down the side.
Nothing says love like a table full of candy and desserts, especially when they were made with love by the bride’s mother. The coffee bar was the perfect way to finish a perfect day. Congratulations Jennifer and Robert. May the light of love shine on you every day. We wish you the best.
