Jessica and Brandon, who met in class on their first day of college, were married on March 18, 2018.
Jessica chose a romantic strapless sheath gown with a sweetheart neckline, embroidery details, and a train. Her bouquet was composed of roses in shades of white, ivory, pink, and yellow, with eucalyptus accents. Her five bridesmaids wore ice-blue full-length dresses in various silhouettes, and carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Brandon got married in a gray suit with a white shirt, ice-blue bow tie, and pocket square. His five groomsmen wore gray trousers with white shirts, gray vests, and ice-blue ties.
In the ceremony, the officiant talked about what the bride and groom signify to each other, and the attendees heard the story of their Disneyland engagement.
At the reception, guests dined outdoors on a buffet of classic Caesar salad, creamy mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, and Tuscan chicken with shiitake and portobello mushrooms.
During the speeches, the maid of honor talked about how happy she was that the bride found someone to adventure with. One of the bridesmaids talked about how authentic the newlyweds’ relationship is, and reminisced about their time at college. The groom’s brother thanked him for being a great older brother and talked about how much he loves his new sister-in-law.
Jessica and Brandon shared their first dance to “In Case You Didn’t Know” by Brett Young. Jessica and her father danced to “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder. Brandon and his mother danced to “Wagon Wheel” by Darius Rucker.
The three-tier wedding cake had top and bottom white layers and a middle layer of silver.
Brandon and Jessica left their special day under the signature sparkler send-off, and honeymooned in the Bahamas. We wish them all the best in their new life together!
