Jessica & Dan ~ October 6, 2017

Dan and Jessica became man and wife on October 6, 2017.

Jessica chose a romantic ivory gown with a strapless corset-style bodice and a layered tulle skirt. She accessorized with a crystal necklace and drop earrings. Her large bouquet incorporated a variety of flowers in pink, red, and yellow, accented by eucalpytus and other greenery.

Dan wore a gray three-piece suit with a white shirt, white tie, white pocket square, and a miniature bouquet boutonniere.

During the ceremony, the bride and groom asked their parents to stand up so they could thank them. They also took part in a tradition Viking sword exchange.

Inside at the reception, guests dined on a mixed-greens salad with goat cheese, spiced pecans, and pomegranate seeds with balsamic dressing; beef Wellington with creamy mashed potatoes; grilled chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and provolone cheese and finished with lemon beurre blanc sauce, served with Parmesan risotto; and grilled vegetable Wellington on angel hair pasta with pesto sauce.

During the toasts, Jessica’s “man of honor” said that the bride is the little sister he never had, and that Dan has changed her into a more loving and patient person. The best man talked about how he’s known Dan since kindergarten and how honored he was to share his wedding day with him. Jessica’s father played a song that was special to their family, and welcomed Dan into the family.

Jessica and her father danced to “You Got It.” Dan and his mother also shared a special dance.

The three-tiered wedding cake had a bottom layer done in pink rosettes. The top and middle layers featured a ombre brushed frosting look. The cake was topped with a Beauty and the Beast figurine.

Jessica and Dan left their special day under a bubble send-off.

We wish them all the happiness in the world!
