Jessica and Jordan’s story starts in the summer of 2015 when Jordan sent Jessica a Facebook message. They had their first date by July 24, their first kiss by August 3, exchanged “I love you” on August 10, were engaged by December 13, and married on Saturday, July 16, 2016.
Jessica donned a lace-textured wedding gown with a jewel neckline and mermaid hem. She held a posy tied bouquet of white and light pink roses with pops of succulents. Her bridesmaids modeled tea-length, short sleeved, scoop neck, cream-colored dresses with pleated skirts.
Jordan wore a three-piece, charcoal gray suit with a white dress shirt, necktie, and pocket square, complete with a full white rose ornamenting his lapel. His groomsmen matched his attire, save for their light colored neckties.
The sign in table was adorned in framed photos of the bride and groom, and featured their guestbook. Guests found their table with a seating chart, while Jessica and Jordan took their seats at the Sweetheart Table. A buffet dinner followed of salad, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and a taco bar.
The three-tiered wedding cake sat atop a gold cake holder, and featured a layer of gumpaste flower petals, followed by a solid gold tier, and topped with a white layer with white frosting details. There was also a candy table where guests could take baggies of sweets home with them.
During toasts, the Father of the Bride talked about how his daughter is brave and independent, and told a story of when Jessica bought 10 prom dresses so she could pick the right one. When Jordan asked him to marry Jessica, he was so happy to see how much Jordan loved his daughter, and that’s all that matters. The Father of the Groom also spoke, and gave the new couple marital advice, saying to communicate with each other.
Jessica’s brother spoke, and talked about his love for his sister. Jordan’s brother also spoke, talking about how both Jordan and Jessica love the Lord Jesus Christ, and he has seen how much they love him so he knows they are capable of loving each other, and toasted to Jessica and Jordan.
Jessica and Jordan’s First Dance was to “Over and Over Again” by Nathan Sykes. Jessica and Jordan left under the signature sparkler farewell, and we wish them all the best.
