Joanna & Eddie ~ November 15, 2015

Blue-Outdoor-Wedding (26)

Joanna and Eddie’s wedding, November 15, 2015 was marked by a very religious ceremony that included a lot of praying. The ceremony began when the two ring bearers came down the aisle with one carrying a sign saying ‘Hey Uncle EJ, here comes your bride. ’The couple exchanged their own vows, which were very personal and humorous, while the officiant, who is a close friend of the couple, helped make the ceremony unique to the bride and groom.

During speeches, Joanna’s father admitted he was finally able to share his most prized possession; his daughter and how a good marriage is filled with care, respect and love. The best man spoke of how EJ found a great woman while the maid of honor talked about how the bride imagined her future growing up and how she always wanted a big wedding and a princess dress.

On her wedding day, Joanna had exactly the dress she imagined as a child with rouching across the bodice, a satin belt and tulle skirt with a cathedral length veil. A part of the bride’s mother’s wedding dress was sewn into the hem of her gown. Blue satin shoes with crystal detailing could occasionally be seen from under the hem of her dress. For the ceremony, the bride carried a bouquet of purples, pinks and blues, roses, hydrangeas and orchids with butterfly decoration. Her bridesmaids wore blue stain gowns with different styles of tops and carried bouquets of white roses. Eddie chose a white tuxedo jacket with black piping, a black bowtie and black trousers to marry his bride, while the bride’s father made a statement in a pinstriped suit with a feather in his fedora.

After the couple danced their first dance as husband and wife, they performed a rap. For dessert, a three-tiered square cake was served with gold crystal detail and Hawaiian pink and white orchids. As thank-yous, each member of the bridal party received their own champagne flute while the rest of the guests were given favors of mints that said ‘Mint to be Together,’ on the container.

The night ended with a signature sparkler farewell. Congratulations Joanna and Eddie. May your lives together be a fairytale come true. We wish you the best.
