Jordana and Eric were married on February 25, 2017.
Jordana looked spectacular in a strapless trumpet gown with a ruched bodice. She accessorized with a pearl necklace, waist-length veil, and a bouquet composed of roses, hydrangeas, and succulents. Her eight bridemaids wore matching full-length, pink, flowing gowns with ruched bodices, and carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Eric got married in a traditional tuxedo with black bowtie and succulent boutonniere. His seven groomsmen wore black suits with black ties and succulent boutonnieres.
Jordana and Eric had an indoor, interfaith ceremony officiated by a rabbi and a priest that honored both of their spiritual backgrounds. They were married under a traditional Jewish chuppah and Eric broke a glass under his foot at the end of the ceremony.
After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with heavy hors d’oeuvres before sitting down to a meal that included a salad of mixed greens with goat cheese crumbles, spiced pecans, pomegranate seeds, sliced oranges and balsamic dressing; sliced beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce and horseradish aioli; grilled mahi mahi with honey citrus glaze; butternut squash ravioli with brown butter sauce; and steamed vegetables. For dessert, there was a gelato cart featuring six different flavors.
During the speeches, Eric’s best man, who was there the night the bride and groom met, talked about how funny Eric was. Jordana’s maid of honor, her older sister, joked that she was the “test baby” growing up, but since Jordana was the first one to get married, she’s now the “test baby” for married life. Jordana’s father expressed his wishes that the grandparents and great-grandparents were here to be at the wedding, and recounted how Eric asked for his blessing before proposing to Jordana.
The newlyweds danced their first dance to “Hold On” by Michael Buble. Jordana and her father danced to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts, and Eric and his mother danced to “Sunshine on My Shoulders” by John Denver. Eric and Jordana also took part in a traditional chair dance.
The wedding cake featured two white ruffled tiers, a rose gold tier with white decoration, and a white tier with rose gold decoration.
We wish Eric and Jordana a marriage full of love and happiness!
