Kaila and Nick were married on December 26, 2021.
For the ceremony, Kaila chose a romantic strapless ballgown with a plunging illusion neckline, embroidered overlay, and a long skirt with a train. Her accessories included a jeweled headband and a full-length veil. For the reception, she changed into a sleeveless sheath dress with heavy beading, a plunging illusion neckline, and a slit up the side. Her bouquet included a variety of flowers in shades of white, peach, and raw sienna. Her man of honor wore a black tuxedo with a white shirt, black tie, and white pocket square; her two bridesmaid wore coordinating full-length black dresses.
Nick looked handsome in a classic black tuxedo with a black vest, white shirt, black bow tie, white pocket square, and white rose boutonniere. His three groomsmen wore black tuxedos with white shirts, black ties, white pocket squares, and white rose boutonnieres.
Kaila met her groom at the altar for the outdoor ceremony to the sound of “What a Wonderful World” being played on violin and piano.
Later guests, enjoyed a meal that included Caesar salad, mahi-mahi, filet mignon, potatoes au gratin, and angel hair pasta.
In the speeches, the man of honor expressed his love for the bride and groom. Kaila’s father thanked everyone for coming and talked about how Nick asked for his permission to marry his daughter.
Nick and Kaila’s first dance as man and wife was to “I Don’t Dance” by Lee Brice. Kaila and her father danced to “Daughters” by John Mayer. Nick and his mother danced to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. Other wedding fun included a photobooth, a conga line, and ornaments in lieu of a guestbook.
The three-tier white wedding cake had a center layer decorated with gold sugar sprinkles.
