Kaitlyn & Paul met at Grand Canyon University their freshman year. When Paul met Kaitlyn, he knew they were meant to be together, but she was hesitant at first. Finally she gave in. When she asked Paul why he waited for her, he said he wasn’t sure. By that time she knew him well enough to know and love his sense of humor. As they drove over to tell their parents Crazy Girl by Eli Young Band played on the radio. Paul sang the song to Kaitlyn. That song became the song of their first dance together at their wedding.

The day of the wedding, friends and family gathered to help the bride and groom get ready. Before the ceremony the groom and his friends had a beer to relax before their walk down the aisle.

The couple had a Christian ceremony at Villa Siena May 17, 2013. The bride wore a fitted strapless gown with mermaid flair. Beaded detailing ran throughout the dress. A cathedral length veil was worn for the ceremony and Kaitlyn had her hair styled in an up-do.

Paul was as happy and in love with Kaitlyn the day of their wedding as he was when he first met her. At the altar he wore an ivory vest with a black tuxedo. His groomsmen all wore black tuxedos with black vests and ties.

Kaitlyn’s bridesmaids walked down the aisle first in black strapless dresses with A-line skirts and black heels. They carried bouquets of greenery with white roses while the bride carried a bouquet of calla lilies with fresh sprigs of green grass. Both the bride’s mother and father escorted Kaitlyn down the aisle.

To remember the couple’s grandparents, pictures were placed on the altar as a memorial. The ceremony was a Christian ceremony where the minster sang. A pianist and guitarist performed God Gave Me You during the ceremony.

The buffet dinner allowed the guests to eat their fill while the celebration created a wonderful day for friends and family. Favors were packages of mints saying ‘Mint to be.’

Before the couple left they changed into more casual clothes. The bride changed into a strapless white dress with a black sash and white embroidered skirt while the groom changed into a tuxedo and button down shirt.

Congratulations Kaitlyn & Paul. May your love continue to grow throughout the years ahead.
