January 25, 2014 was the date that bound Karen and Steven together in love. The couple met online. Throughout their wedding day, the bride and groom beamed with smiles and laughter. Their joy was contagious.
For the ceremony, Karen chose a strapless wedding gown with detailing across the bust and a fitted bodice. The gown finished in a full silk skirt. For jewelry, the bride chose a cameo necklace. With her hair in an up-do, the bride affixed a veil underneath her bun while a diamond tiara sat on top. The bridesmaids wore ruby red strapless gowns that reached the floor. For bouquets, deep, red roses were chosen for both the bride and the bridesmaids.
Steven chose a black tuxedo with white shirt and tie. A blue vest and blue handkerchief brought some color to the ensemble. The groomsmen also wore black tuxedos.
After the ceremony, congratulations were shared as the guests made their way to the reception. Tables were decorated with black tablecloths and varying sizes of candles holders wrapped with crystal ribbon. Inside the holders, round candles sat on marbles of red and white.
The wedding cake combined black and white details with red roses. Favors were heart-shaped cookies with frosting on top. The letter L was part of the decoration on each cookie.
For the first dance, Queen’s One Year of Love played.
Congratulations Karen and Steven. May you wake up every morning together with a smile on your faces. We wish you the best.
