Karri wed her groom January 31, 2014 a. Their wedding reception followed at Villa Siena.
For the big day, the bride wore a strapless lace gown that was fitted to her knees with slight mermaid flair. In the back the gown came down in a V with covered beads. Karri’s hair was worn back with a veil that was replaced after the ceremony by a flower in her hair. Mario and his groomsmen wore grey tuxedos with piping, navy blue ties and white shirts. The bridal bouquet celebrated white and blush roses with lilies, and was tied with a white satin ribbon. The bridesmaids also carried bouquets of white roses. Their dresses were of navy blue satin with a single shoulder strap.
After photographs were taken throughout the grounds, the real fun began. Guests were ushered into the Firenze Ballroom where the couple’s name was lit on the wall. The look was chic with all white tablecloths and white candles floating in a vase over a white rose. Table numbers were in silver frames.
For their big entrance, the bride, groom and bridal party all wore sunglasses that were gifts from the bride and groom. After a traditional first dance to Wanted by Hunter Hayes, the groom surprised his bride with a choreographed dance that included the groomsmen to Justin Bieber’s Baby.
The wedding cake was four tiers with alternating layers of smooth ivory fondant and layers of lace that were styled after the bride’s dress. Fresh roses sat on top and a monogrammed G in fondant marked the second layer. For those looking for more sweet treats, a late night Churro station was available. Favors were lottery tickets and were enclosed in an envelope that read “Lucky in Love”.
Congratulations Karri and Mario. May every day be a winning day for you both. We wish you the best.
