Who says a bride can’t enjoy a good cigar on her wedding day? Kate not only posed for the camera with her stogy, she relaxed in a wing back with her 3 inch bridal flip flops on display. Kate and Ryan are one of the nicest, most relaxed couples we had a Villa Siena this spring. It was such a pleasure to work with them during th…e planning phases and on the day of the event. Kate surprised her father by arranging for bagpipes to accompany her and her father down the aisle. He loved them! During cocktail hour, Kate and Ryan played a slideshow showcasing the fun vacations they had taken as a couple and some of the many sporting events they had attended together. A friend surprised Kate and Ryan with a handmade photo board with the couple’s photo and spots for guest to sign. It was a beautiful memento of the event and a tribute to all the family and friends who helped them celebrate. Ryan surprised Kate by hiring a photo booth company to come set up during the reception so guests could entertain themselves making fun and frivolous photos to share and to keep. So many surprises… just illustrates how much this family cared for each other and wanted to make things really special for those they love.
