Kiah & Tony ~ March 22, 2014

March 22, 2014 is a day Kiah and Tony will always remember. The couple met through common interests at the gym they both went to. Throughout the past four years, what started as a something unknown sparked into a love and respect for one another which culminated in their wedding celebration at Villa Siena.

During the ceremony, the couple joined purple and white sand together in a sand ceremony. A string quartet accompanied the day’s events. For her wedding day, Kiah chose a fitted wedding gown with mermaid flair. The dress layered silk throughout the bodice with beaded detailing on the top edge of the dress. Lace accented the gown. Kiah wore her hair down with a veil finished with satin piping. For her bouquet, the bride chose purple, lavender and white flowers, which included purple and white calla lilies. Each bridesmaid wore a strapless, flowing lavender gown. Tony chose a black tuxedo with purple bowtie and vest, while his groomsmen wore grey tuxedos with roses in their lapels.

The programs for the ceremony were beautifully done with purple ribbon, a single crystal and flowers on them. As the couple exchanged vows, a fire burned in the fireplace, giving off the same sense of warmth that the couple shared with each other.

For the reception, each table was titled with a name that reflected the couple’s views on love and included ‘friendship & laughter, compassion & romance, faith, trust, love, hope and forgive & forget.’ The wedded couple shared a private table for dinner.

Kiah and Tony were fortunate to have a friend videotaping the ceremony including the first dance, which was to Come Away With Me by Norah Jones followed by the father/daughter dance to Unforgettable by Nat King Cole.

Dancing was followed by guests enjoying the three-tiered wedding cake with a grey fondant bow on the middle layer and fresh purple roses on top. A crystal ribbon wrapped the first and third layers.

Afterwards the couple played the Newlywed Game. Favors were ceramic honey jars. The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell.

Congratulations Kiah and Tony. May you continue to find more and more common interests to share as your love continues to bloom. We wish you the best.
