Kimberly and Peter, who met while they were working together at a restaurant in Minnesota, were married on May 3, 2019.
Kimberly dazzled in a scoop-neck sheath gown with lace illusion sleeves, corset bodice, cutout back, and a train. Her accessories included a knee-length veil and a pendant necklace. Her bouquet was composed of an assortment of flowers in white and shades of purple. Her five bridesmaids wore matching full-length plum-colored gowns with lace cap sleeves. They carried small bouquets of white and light purple flowers.
Peter wore a black suit with a white shirt, black vest, plum-colored tie, plum-colored pocket square, and purple rose boutonniere. His five groomsmen wore black suits with white shirts, plum-colored vests, plum-colored ties, plum-colored pocket squares, and purple rose boutonnieres.
The couple talked about how much they love each other in their vows, and performed a sand ceremony to signify the joining of their lives.
Inside at the reception, guests dined on a salad of spring mix, strawberries, apples, grapes, feta cheese, and pecans; angel hair pasta tossed with tomatoes and pesto sauce; potatoes au gratin; grilled boneless chicken breast filled with prosciutto and provolone; and sliced beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce and horseradish aioli.
During the speeches, the best man talked about meeting Kimberly and getting to know her, saying that she was more than just beautiful, she was a great person.
Peter and Kimberly shared their first dance as man and wife to “All My Life” by K-Ci & JoJo. Kimberly and her father danced to “Walk With You” by Edwin McCain. Other wedding fun included an anniversary dance, and essential oil jars handmaid by the bride given out as favors.
The three-tier white wedding cake had purple fondant cascading down the side. The cake was decorated with faux grapes and a glittery Mr. & Mrs. topper.
The newlyweds honeymooned at a resort in the Bahamas. We wish them all the best in the future!
