Kimberly & Christopher ~ December 12, 2015

Red-Rose-December-Wedding-Villa-Siena (9)Kimberly and Christopher’s wedding was filled with personalized details. The couple married December 12, 2015. They incorporated deep reds, burnt pinks, dark purples and white into their color scheme and the bridal bouquets. As guests arrived each person was invited to sign a wooden heart with a note for the bride and groom. On either side of the reception table sat framed pictures of the couple’s dogs holding a sign saying Welcome.

During the celebration, the groom wore a black tuxedo with black shirt and a striped tie. His groomsmen were dressed in black tuxedos with bowties. The bride was stunning in a fitted lace gown with beading and a flair of tulle on the bottom edge of the dress. Kimberly carried a bouquet of mixed flowers in deep reds and purples with crystals embedded in the red roses. A heart pendant hung from the satin ribbon tying the bouquet. By Kimberly’s side were her bridesmaids who wore flowing gowns with empire waists in soft taupe and peach colors. As bridesmaid’s gifts, each of the bridesmaids was given a gold bracelet with a diamond bow on it.

At the reception purple up-lighting created a personalized feel to the space as did the couple’s name and date of marriage that shone on the wall. When everyone was seated, the bride and groom gave a speech thanking their guests for coming before the father of the bride offered blessings and talked about how neither the bride nor groom wanted to grow up.

Before guests were allowed to help themselves to the buffet dinner they had to dance when the DJ called their table number. The couple’s first dance was to Incubus’ Stellar followed by the father & daughter dance to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw and the Nana & Son song to What a Wonderful World.

Three tiers of round wedding cake were served for dessert. The cake was decorated with a gold-edged ruffled frosting. For the cake topper the couple chose Star Wars figurines.

Guests were invited to take pictures in the photo booth to capture the night. Favors were cookies and Thank-You cards. Congratulations Kimberly and Christopher. May your lives together be filled with happiness and love.
