Kristin & Felix ~ August 27, 2017

Kristin and Felix were married on August 27, 2017.

Kristin chose an eye-catching fitted gown with spaghetti straps, a plunging neckline, a bodice embellished with embroidery and beading, and a tiered ruffled skirt. Her accessories included a lariat necklace, drop earrings, and a knee-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of a variety of white flowers accented with white feathers and greenery, all tied with a white ribbon. Her maid of honor wore a strapless, full-length red dress with a sweetheart neckline and ruched bodice. Her seven other bridesmaids wore the same dress in black. The bridal party carried small bouquets of all-white flowers.

Felix looked sharp in a black suit, which he wore with a black shirt, black vest, black tie, and red pocket square. His best man wore a black suit with a black shirt, black vest, red tie, and red pocket squares. His five other groomsmen wore all black with red bow ties and red pocket squares.

The couple read personal vows to one another during the indoor ceremony.

At the reception, guests enjoyed a meal of Caesar salad, twice-baked potatoes, penne alla vodka, chicken breast with prosciutto and provolone cheese, and grilled flatiron steak topped with pico de gallo.

During the speeches, one of Felix’s friends shared the story of when Felix told him he was going to propose to Kristin. Several other people spoke, too, including the maid of honor and the bride’s parents.

Felix and Kristin shared their first dance as man and wife to “Then” by Brad Paisley. Kristin and her father danced to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw, and she and her stepfather danced to “Dance With My Daughter” by Jason Blaine. Felix and his mother also shared a dance.

Each level of the four-tier white wedding cake featured a different design. The cake was topped with  fondant flowers.

We wish the happy couple all the best!
