Kristen and Kyle met through Kyle’s mom. She certainly knew her son well to choose such a wonderful woman for him. The couple married at Villa Siena May 31, 2013.
The bride wore a strapless silk gown with beaded detailing under the bust. A white belt intersected the beading. The dress fitted to the hip then flared out. A bit of sparkle in the beading was reflected in white satin shoes with diamonds across the top. The bride’s hair was worn in a half up-do. For a bouquet, Kristen chose red roses.
The bridesmaids wore turquoise dresses with a single shoulder strap and carried a single red rose with a white ribbon tied around it. They wore white heels.
Kyle and his groomsmen wore dark grey tuxedos. While Kyle had a white shirt and tie and white handkerchief, his groomsmen wore turquoise ties and white handkerchiefs.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by a poster of the couple kissing, each holding out a framed image. The groom’s read he asked her, the bride’s read she said yes.
During the ceremony guests were given fans with a picture of the couple on it and their date of marriage. Across the altar red roses sat in crystal marbles while candles burned around them. A white runner sprinkled with red rose petals marked the path for the bride to travel to meet her groom. The audience was invited to join in lighting the unity candle. Favors for the wedding were unity candles, lotion, fans and chapstick.
Kristen’s sister sang during the ceremony. Once the reception began, the couple kicked off the dancing with Michael Buble’s Baby, You’ve Got What it Takes as their first dance. From there everyone joined in the festivities.
An orange frosted cake with white decorative piping and turquoise flowers made for a beautiful wedding cake. The couple’s initials sat on top.
Congratulations Kristen and Kyle. May family and friends continue to be your support and your champions during your amazing journey of marriage.
