Kristina and Jon were married on November 24, 2018.
Kristina chose a sophisticated fit-and-flare sleeveless lace gown with a deep V neckline and plunging back. Her accessories included drop earrings, a jeweled hair comb, and a hip-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of peonies, roses, and other flowers in tones of blush and red, plus succulents and other assorted greenery. Her three bridesmaids wore sleeveless burgundy full-length gowns with deep V necklines and plunging backs. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Jon got married in a dark blue three-piece suit with a dark blue vest, white shirt, burgundy tie, and white rose boutonniere. His three groomsmen dressed to match him, with the addition of white pocket squares.
During the ceremony, the officiant told the couple that marriage has the ability to challenge and strengthen a relationship.
Later, guests enjoyed a meal of sauteed chicken breast, flatiron steak, creamy Parmesan risotto, and fresh steamed vegetables. The wedding favors were personalized bottle openers.
In the speeches, the bride’s parents spoke about how thankful they are that Jon is in their daughter’s life, and advised the couple to be true to each other always. The groom’s parents shared how Jon told them that he couldn’t imagine his life with anyone besides Kristina. The maid of honor spoke about her adventures with the bride, and the best man talked about his friendship with the groom.
Jon and Kristina danced together for the first time as man and wife to “The Night We Met” by Lord Huron. Kristina and her father danced to “Make You Feel My Love” as performed by Ortopilot. Jon and his mother danced to “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys.
The three-tier white wedding cake was done in a brushed frosting design and was decorated with red and pink roses.
Kristina and Jon left their wedding under the signature sparkler send-off.
We wish the happy couple a long and beautiful life together!
