Krystal made for a beautiful bride when she married Calogero July 26, 2014. The couple was very relaxed for their wedding day. The chairs at the outdoor wedding ceremony were wrapped with lavender satin bows. On the altar vases of varying sizes filled with water were lit up with floating candles and strewn with stands of pearls. The ceremony began with two ring bearers walking down the aisle carrying a sign saying ‘Here Comes the Love of Your Life.
The bride wore a gown that laced up the back in a corset style. Lace styled the gown with a silver beaded belt. The dress was fitted with a slight flair at the bottom. A veil accented the bride’s up-do, which was braided down both sides. Her groom wore a grey tuxedo with white tie, shirt and vest with black Converse sneakers. The groomsmen also wore grey tuxedos with white ties.
Floor-length lavender gowns made the bridesmaids look like summer flowers. Rose petals lined a white runner.
During the ceremony, the couple lit a unity candle and performed a sand ceremony. Afterwards, the Firenze room shone in purple up-lighting for the couple.
For the first dance, the couple chose All of Me, which was sung by a friend and accompanied by guitar. That dance was followed by My Little Girl by Tim McGraw for the father/daughter dance and Hourglass by Mindy Gledhill for the mother/son dance.
The wedding cake had alternating tiers of silver beading and white curlicues. Each of the four tiers was wrapped in lavender satin ribbons with fresh pink flowers on top and on each tier. Guests were also served cannolis and a plate of cookies.
Calogero did a traditional garter toss, causing his bride to blush as he removed her garter.
As the night wound down guests were given mini bottles of olive oil as favors.
Congratulations Krystal and Calogero. May your days be wrapped with peace and feathered with love. We wish you the best.
