Krystal and Evan were married on October 1, 2017.
Krystal chose a dramatic sheath gown with long sleeves, a crystal neckline, a train, and a cutout back with a beaded detail. Her accessories included a crystal headband, a full-length veil edged in lace, and stud earrings. Her bouquet was composed of peonies, roses, and other flowers in shades of white, lavender, and pale pink. Her three bridesmaids wore full-length light pink dresses with tulle overlays in a variety of necklines.
Evan got married in a navy blue suit with a lighter blue shirt, patterned tie, and white rose boutonniere. His three groomsmen wore dark suits with white shirts, patterned ties and white rose boutonnieres.
Krystal and Evan lit a unity candle during their outdoor ceremony to signify their new marriage.
Inside at the reception, guests signed wooden hearts and slipped them inside a Mason jar-shaped shadow box as a keepsake for the newlyweds before enjoying a meal of Caesar salad, salmon, beef tenderloin, ravioli, and mixed vegetables.
During the speeches, the best man talked about knowing Evan in college, and how the dedication he brings to everything he does will continue in his marriage. The maid of honor gave a toast in Chinese. Krystal’s father talked about how happy and excited he was for his daughter to finish her education, find a job, get married, and someday become a mother. Evan’s father talked about love and family, and thanked out-of-town family for coming to the wedding. Evan thanked the guests for coming and shared his gratitude.
The three-tiered wedding cake started with a base layer done in dusty rose-colored rosettes; the next layer was ivory covered with a lace decoration; and the top layer was ivory with a pearl design.
Evan and Krystal left their wedding under the signature sparkler send-off.
We wish them a long and happy life together!
