Bringing in the spring, Laura and Jeff were married March 16, 2014 at Villa Siena. In keeping with the brightness of the season, they chose pink and white for their color scheme.
Laura and Jeff met when both families were stationed at Luke Air Force base in Glendale, Arizona, but only began dating while attending University of Arizona.
Laura’s beauty shone through as she donned her wedding gown, which was fitted to the waist before finishing in a full silk skirt. A sweetheart neckline and beaded detailing gave the dress a fairytale feel. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses for the ceremony. Her hair was styled in an up-do with a diamond headband and veil underneath. Her bridesmaids wore pink dresses and carried pale pink and white rose bouquets. Jeff was a dapper groom in black tuxedo with black tie and white shirt. The groomsmen also wore black tuxes with black ties and white shirts.
During the ceremony, the couple built a unity cross together as a singer performed From This Moment.
For entertainment during the reception a slideshow of the bride and groom played. A special sweetheart table was set up for the married couple to dine and was covered with a black and silver sequined tablecloth. The fathers of the bride and groom as well as the sisters of the bride and groom gave speeches. Love shone through as the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance to Stay With Me by Josh Gracin. The father/daughter song was to I Loved Her First by Heartland and then the mother/son song to Bird Without Wings by Celtic Thunder.
A five-tiered cake offered a sweet treat for guests and a surprise for the groom. On the backside of the cake with harlequin design in white fondant was a Carolina Panther’s helmet hidden for the groom. An ‘M’ sat atop the cake.
Congratulations Laura and Jeff. May your faith in one another and love for each other grow stronger each day. We wish you the best.
