College sweethearts Lauren and Carter were married on January 13, 2024.
Lauren chose a romantic off-the-shoulder gown with a plunging illusion neckline, a floral embellished bodice and a train. She accessorized with a full-length veil with a flower design, drop earrings and a crystal circle necklace. Her bouquet was composed of cream-colored flowers and greenery. Her four bridesmaids wore full-length satin champagne-colored dresses. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Carter looked sharp in a black tuxedo with a black vest, white shirt, black bow tie, white pocket square and mini bouquet boutonniere. His four groomsmen wore black tuxedos with white shirts, champagne-colored bow ties, champagne-colored pocket squares and mini bouquet boutonnieres.
After the ceremony, attendees enjoyed a meal of filet mignon, grilled chicken breast, herb-roasted red potatoes and fresh green beans.
During the speeches, the best man, the groom’s brother, said that he looked up to Carter, talked about the first time he met Lauren and gave advice. The maid of honor, the bride’s best friend, spoke about their friendship and the special connection between the bride and the groom.
Carter and Lauren’s first dance as man and wife was to “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur. There were also special dances for Lauren and her father, and Carter and his mother.
The wedding cake was a four-layer designed flavored with almond.
We wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness!
