“He is a very, very special man,” said Lauren of Tim when they first met. The maid of honor recalled Lauren’s first impressions of the man who would become her husband on the couple’s wedding day. The couple’s family was walked down the aisle to start the processional before Lauren made her grand entrance to Pachelbel’s Canon in D. The bride wore a strapless mermaid style gown with lace and beaded detailing and covered buttons down the back. A belt added definition to the gown. Instead of a traditional veil, Lauren wore a birdcage veil. She carried a bouquet filled with a spring color palette of white, pink and yellow spray roses and succulents. Waiting for her at the end of the aisle was Tim, her groom, in a black tuxedo with bowtie. By the sides of the bride and groom were seven bridesmaids in royal blue knee-length dresses carrying smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet and seven groomsmen wearing black tuxedos with bowties.

Celebrating the history of the couple were framed photographs on a table with a sign that read You & Me. Guests were able to learn more about the places the couple has traveled through table markers with images and titles of destinations such as Rome.

For the dinner service and reception the newlyweds sat at a private table labeled with Mr. & Mrs. signs. During the speeches, “Pickle,” the groom’s brother talked of how Tim is his best friend and always will be. The Maid of honor spoke of her fifteen year friendship with the bride and how the moments of Tim and Lauren’s wedding day were only the first moments of the rest of their lives together.

Favors were coffee beans in glass jars with Thank you for BEAN here labels. The wedding cake was an upside down cake with the largest layer on the top and the smallest layer on bottom. Gumpaste flower petals decorated alternating tiers while the remainder was finished with pearl detailing.
