A Day Of Love, Sparkles, and Tequila with Lauren and Nick

Lauren and Nick’s wedding was such a colorful, love-filled affair — and it was maybe the first ever ceremony with a tequila twist! Having the groom’s dad as the officiant gave such a fun feeling to the event. The whole day was a gorgeous explosion and we loved the color scheme of blue, navy, and gold — complete with hydrangeas and roses. Lauren looked stunning in her Tinkerbell-inspired dress, with a full and dramatic bottom — and Nick was every bit the dashing gentleman in his blue suit.

When we got in for the reception, the fun just kept coming. It was a wedding where you could really feel the love coming not just from the bride and groom, but from the entire wedding party — and friends and families! The gold touches at the reception(including the stunning head table for the couple) really gave the party a sparkling atmosphere while still being incredibly sophisticated. We loved the personal touches, especially the “musical history” of Nick that came through in the mother-son dance. Plus, having a cut-out of the groomsmen who had been deployed to Afghanistan so he could still be there in spirit was really touching.

Between shot glasses as favors, icing the guests, and, of course, plenty of tequila, it really was a total blast! (Don’t worry, there were very non-alcoholic treats for the kids too, we’d recommend their light-up toys to any couple looking for having kids at their wedding!).

Lauren and Nick had an energetic, whirlwind of a day — and we hope they enjoyed it as much as we did!We wish them all the best!
