Laurie and Brandon first met when his best man set them up. They went on a double date. The best man’s date is now his wife and she offered to ‘trip’ Laurie so she wouldn’t have to go on the date. Laurie declined and she and Brandon have been together ever since.
The couple looked very much in love on their wedding day as Laurie and Brandon stole kisses throughout the day. Laurie wore a strapless silk gown with beaded waist and beaded detailing. Diamond drop earrings were the only accessory needed. Her veil was cathedral length with lace edging. Her bouquet melded an assortment of purple and pink flowers. The bridesmaids wore grey strapless floor length gowns with wild belts and empire waists and carried paired down versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Brandon looked dapper in a black tuxedo with white vest and tie. His groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black ties and white shirts.
Their wedding reception offered all sorts of sweet treats for guests, from a Frost Gelato cart to the groom’s cake of a frog eating a superhero to the official wedding cake which consisted of four tiers decorated with fondant sashes cascading down each layer. Fresh pink and purple roses adorned the cake. Favors were purple and white M&Ms.
During the reception a string quartet played. The couple’s first dance was A Thousand Years by Christina Perri followed by the father/daughter dance to Heartland’s I Loved Her First and then the mother/son song to Simple Man by Shinedown.
The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Laurie and Brandon. May your days be filled with the closeness of your first dance. We wish you the best.
