April 13, 2013, Lindsay and Ryan were married at Villa Siena. Lindsay was a radiant bride in a fitted lace gown with a belt around the waist and lace edging. The dress laced up the back and the bride’s hair was worn up. Both Lindsay’s cathedral length veil and bouquet were accented with crystals. Her bridesmaids wore pink floor-length gowns.
Ryan chose a black tuxedo with silk piping and a white vest, tie and shirt.
Before the ceremony, Lindsay and Ryan shared their first look, a moment together that brought tears to both their eyes.
Then Lindsay and Ryan memorialized their wedding with a photo of themselves and their parents, where each couple held their date of marriage on a framed chalkboard.
The couple had a memory table with framed photographs of those whose love helped Lindsay and Ryan become who they are today, which of course included their beloved dogs who were no longer with them.
During the ceremony the officiant offered the two marital advice about the journey they were about to embark upon as husband and wife. During the recessional friends and family tossed flower petals in the air.
Baby photos of the couple were placed in the bathrooms while wedding photos of family members could be found throughout the reception. After the ceremony the father of the bride thanked everyone for coming and shared his hopes for Lindsay’s future and how they correlated with the hopes Ryan’s family had for him.
For the reception Lindsay traded her veil for a flower in her hair, making it easier to dance a choreographed ballroom dance to Frank Sinatra’s Somewhere Beyond the Sea.
A caricature artist sketched images of people throughout the night.
Then everyone indulged in a little wedding cake that was decorated with ribbons of crystal and flowers. The cake topper read ‘Mr. & Mrs.’ in silver.
As they drove away, the ‘just married’ on the side of the car let everyone know that today was their special day. Congratulations Lindsay and Ryan. May your wedding day be only the beginning of an amazing journey together.
