Lindsey & Brian ~ March 24, 2013

As spring blossomed at Villa Siena, so did the love of Lindsey & Brian as they celebrated their wedding vows March 24, 2013. The couple met by a stroke of fate. For some reason they both ended up at Sandbar Mexican Grill in Ahwatukee, although neither one of them was supposed to be there that night. The two strangers talked throughout the night and next day. The next morning Lindsey called her mom and said “I have met the man I am going to marry. I met my soul mate.” Four months later they were engaged.

The officiant for the ceremony was the groom’s brother, leaving Brian relaxed as he waited by the altar in a champagne colored suit with striped coral tie and coral rose pinned to his lapel. Lindsey glowed in a strapless gown with a high waist that flowed into an a-line skirt. The bride wore her hair up and a veil with satin trim that was reminiscent of classic 1950’s style. On her feet she wore coral colored shoes with rhinestones. Lindsey’s bridesmaids embodied the warmth of spring in coral colored knee-length dresses.

Sand ceremony

The couple’s day of celebration was filled with surprises. The first was a gender reveal of their unborn baby, which took place during the sand ceremony. While the couple had coral and champagne colored sands, they also had pink and blue to choose from to let their guests know if the baby was a boy or girl.

cake

March 24th, doesn’t only signify the union of Lindsey and Brian’ it’s also Lindsey’s birthday. To surprise his bride, Brian presented her with a birthday cupcake. For the rest of the guests there was a three-tiered cake with coral and white fondant. Each tier was a different design. Surrounding the bottom of the cake and on top was an abundant amount of coral roses.
